News:

The Monroe County CART has been assisting residents displaced by Hurricane Sandy. The team is operating an animal shelter at East Stroudsburg University, the site of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's High Capacity Shelter established by Governor Corbett. The human shelter is being managed by the state Department of Public Welfare with assistance from the American Red Cross. Monroe CARTis being assisted by Wayne/Pike and Schuylkill CARTS and a volunteer from The International Fund for Animal Welfare(IFAW).
